Empowering Youth, Transforming Education: The Impact of Ghana Society for Education Technology


World Youth Skills Day is a United Nations observance that emphasizes the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment and personal growth. Celebrated annually on July 15th, it aims to promote policies, initiatives, and collaborations to address youth unemployment. The Ghana Society for Education Technology has since its inception, been dedicated to transforming education in Ghana, empowering the youth, and supporting teachers in enhancing the quality of education. By partnering with notable organizations such as the Ghana Education Service, 131 Sunflower Hub, ENGINE Business Network, Instill, Teaching Training Together, MindCET, GESAwards, just to mention a few, GSET has made invaluable contributions in building a brighter future for Ghana and the world at large.

In the area of youth skill development, GSET has played a pivotal role in empowering the youth through comprehensive training programs in digital skills as well coding and programing courses. By nurturing their potential, GSET has opened doors to endless opportunities, enabling them to thrive in the digital landscape and contribute to the socio-economic development of the nation.

The Ghana Society for Education Technology recognizes the crucial part teachers play in shaping the next generation. This is why GSET partners with the Ghana Education Service and other organizations to support and upskill educators through workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs.
